0 Good Morning tkolis, thank you for allowing me to assist you! From what you have described it sounds like the Start switch shaft came out of the switch. More than likely the switch will need replacing; however attempting to reassemble switch is not a typical DIY. In this regard, I would suggest contacting an authorized service technician for repair.
