Question About Fisher & Paykel Clothes Dryer DGGX1

Heater fires only for a few minutes. then shuts off. the dryer was returned to where we purchased hooked the dryer up worked fine. the only thing is gas pressure should we have the gas company come out. the feed line is 1/2 and the flex line is 3/8 could the smaller flex line be the problem
