0 On my machine the door handle is connected to a timer for safety reasons. Wait about 30 seconds then try the door. As far as water in the tub...On the front of your machine (or possibly the back) there is a small spring loaded flap. Open it and you will find a round piece of plastic being held on by a singular screw. There might be two larger screws just outside of this but leave these alone since these hold the whole assembly together. Remove this small singular screw (DON"T LOSE THIS SCREW!) and twist to the left and pull out. Get a small bucket or a good absorbant towel to catch the small amount of water. When you pull this out you will find a small tray. This is the lint trap for the wash water. Clean out all the gunk and reinstall. Carefull not to over-tighten the screw or you will strip the threads. My problem was a coin got stuck in it and it wouldn't let the water go to the pump to be pumped out. The machine has a safety switch so if it can't pump all the water out it automatically shuts down(which is what mine did). Once I cleaned the tray out all the problems went away including the water in the tub and the over-filling problem. Hope this helps you.
