Question About Electrolux Washer/Dryer GLEH1642FS1
I have a Electrolux GLEH1642FS1 dryer/washer combo...

I have a Electrolux GLEH1642FS1 dryer/washer combo. It has begun leaving black streaks on anything run through the washer. Looking at the detergent-loading tray, there seems to be some black goop where the detergent flows. I don't see any way to remove the loader so that I can clean it. Any thoughts?

4 Good Afternoon Gilroy0, I understand that black streaks are being left on any clothes that are run through your Frigidaire laundry center, model# GLEH1642FS1. I also see that there seems to be some black goop in the detergent loading tray. You are able to remove the dispenser drawer, if you will please follow these instructions: 1) Remove the drawer by first sliding the safety latch to the right, then pulling the drawer out until it stops. 2) Reach back into the left rear corner of the drawer cavity and press down firmly on the lock tab (left rear portion of the drawer). Pull out the drawer. 3) Remove the inserts from the bleach and fabric softener compartments. 4) Rinse the drawer and inserts with hot tap water to remove traces of accumulated powders and liquids. Large amounts of fabric softener residue may indicate improper dilution or more frequent cleaning is required. 5) To clean the drawer opening, use a small brush to clean the recess. Remove all residues from the upper and lower parts of the recess. 6) Return the bleach and fabric softener inserts to their proper compartments. 7) Replace the dispenser drawer and run the short wash cycle without any wash load in the drum.
