Drying in progress and by mistake turn button to 'o'. Machine stopped and smell burning. Now it would not turn on. No light on panel at all. What's wrong pls?

5 look at the back panel,, there should be a green wire hooked to one of the screws holding on the rear cover. remove the cover and trace back that green wire. inspect it for melting. if its melted in any way replace it with the wire of the same size and quality, if that's not the problem look over all the wires inside if any one of them are melted or damaged, replace it. if that show no signs of damage, look at the heater coil if, it`s broken you can most likely stretch it to spin a few coils over each end,till you feel i won`t come apart easy, leave the cover off and jut look for smoke or melting smell (plastic smell) of course don`t do and touching inside the unit unless it`s unplugged, this should help you locate the problem, good luck
