Question About Crosley Clothes Dryer CGDX463JQ2

I AM REPLACING IGNITER COILS SENSOR ON THIS DRYER. I DONT WANT TO FORCE THE FRONT PANEL OFF BUT THE 2 CLIPS ON THE BOTTOM OF FRONT PANEL ARE NOT COOPERATING. LOOKS LIKE THEY SHOULD BE SQUEEZED TOGETHER TO RELEASE . IS THIS CORRECT
