my washing machine wont start the start/pause button it just blinks the whole time. I have tried every cycle. ANy suggestions?

0 If the LED above the button is blinking, then you know the door switch is good. Door switch if not operable, the LED will not illuminate. Majority of the time the micro switch soldered to the control board is faulty. Taking the control board assembly apart and removing the PC board, you can see the micro switch soldered to the board. Using a lot of care you can pop the top off switch, slowly lift since part of it is soldered to board. Remove green plunger and underneath is a brass poppet that you remove. Using scotch brite or steel wool, clean bottom of poppet and the small terminals on the plastic base (three). replace poppet, plunger and snap top back on micro switch and you are ready to go. See this a million times in the field.
