Dryer problem...

when I put clothes in to dry (WTMC3300US/01) they run for two minutes and shut off, still wet. I,ve cleaned all lint out from dryer and vent hose to no avail. If I duct tape the door closed tight, it goes thru the full cycle and drys the clothes. What gives?
