1 I just got one last night. Mine makes the same "groaning"/cuckoo clock noise. I thought it might be just when it was heating up, but it coninues to make the noise during use. I'm taiking mine back.

0 I have the same question...where is some information on this iron. Does your iron make a low, rythmatic growning sound when you use the steam? I don't know about you but there is no way I can listen to that and make it throught 15 shirts. I can't be responsible for what get thrown first the shirt or the iron. I can't even tell if this is normal or it came out of the box broken. If this is normal it's going back to the store.

0 Does anyone know why this iron makes so much noise? I am considering returning it to the store. I was ironing last night and the "growling" noise was so loud we had to turn the TV up just to listen to the program

0 The steam is faulty! In one week! It makes a clicking sound like a grandfather clock - tick, tick, tick and no steam! A waste of money. Stay away.

0 I don't think it sounds like a clock I think it sounds like an outer space ship and it's when you press that left button and I guess mine is going to go back also cuz I couldn't tolerate putting up with that noise also I can't get it to steam.
