We just purchased a F2200 Steam Iron and it is the second one in a matter of 1 months time or less. Problem is that after a few ironings, some sort of material is exuded from the iron and discolors the clothes my wife is ironing. It appears as though it might be teflon from the inside of the iron. I can assure you that the stuff on the bottom of the iron is not coming from the material we are ironing
