Question About Black & Decker Iron D1600

Had the iron about 2 months. Won't heat and it beeps and blinks the word "ERROR" There is absolutely no help for this in the manual or online. Do I buy black and decker again?

5 I had my iron for a week. I was so excited about this iron. It worked wonderful for a week. I'm so pissed off! I've had a 10dollar iron before that worked for years! And Black&Decker is TOP OF THE LINE! yeah right!

4 OK so it isn't just me. My iron is less than 4 months old and i have had no problems UNTIL THIS MORNING. This error message just keeps blinking. Needless to say I went to work wrinkled. I will never purchase a Black and Decker Iron again.

3 To fix the error message. Open the iron . There must loose wire going to heating element.

3 i CAN NOT USE THIS IRON BECAUSE IT TURNS ITS SELF OFF EVERY FEW SECONDS, REQUIRING ME TO UNPLUG IT AND PLUG IT BACK IN REPEATUDLY. HELP!

0 This iron is a piece of junk, purchased it about a year ago now for no real reason it won't work. Most of my clothes are dry cleaned and I hardly ever iron, so this is a real piece of junk!
