Our dryer is out of balance. It has a thumping sound as it spins. I believe that is why it doesn't always dry the first time around. How do we get it back into balance?

Product Problem: MDE5500AYW Maytag Neptune Elec.Dryer

Control board not responding, but lit.
Start/Pause button flashes.
Replaced control board to no avail.
Holding damp/dry button makes lights flash sequence.
By-passed door switch, no change.
Started checking sensor continuity without service manual.
Have Masters Elec. License in 2 states.
Not helpless, but I do need help!

The timer won't work on the timesetting at the upper right of the dial. On other settings the timer moves, but on all settings the unit will heat up for a couple of minutes and then stop heating.

Product Problem: Water light won't go out even when empty so no heat!!!

The water full indicater won't go out even when water container is empty, so no heat to dry clothes. Small drip form the top back on the outside of machine behind water collector, water tray is wet underneath when removed even when its not full....All filters are clean but still can't solve the problem.
