As wash times have increased, the reason for this is to meet EU directives,
test cases or washes are carried out on a 40 degree wash, monitoring the
amount of water and energy used in the wash, to compensate for the low
energy and water being used the wash times has increased.

Many Zanussi and AEG models have either a super quick or quick option, this
is not to be confused with a quick wash programme, the Quick option will
reduce the wash time to a more realistic time. If you are selecting a ‘eco’
wash programme this option cannot be selected.

The following is for example purposes only, a 40 degree standard cotton
wash will take approx 80 mins, however by selecting the super quick option
this will reduce this to approximately 60 mins. This will not affect the
wash performance of the programme, unless the items have very heavy
soiling, in this instance it is recommended not to used this option. The
same applies to the 60 degree standard cotton wash; however the timings
will be different.

Please note Super quick cannot be used on all programmes.

I trust this helps with your enquiry.

Kind Regards

Zanussi Consumer Care Team
