lint filter light

Hi,
Lint filter light came on. I cleaned filter and compartment, using computer vacuum attachments which reach all the way to the bottom and into the vent duct on the right of filter chamber. Also disconnected vent hose and cleaned duct work and hose. Lint light still lit and dryer fails to operate. What's up? Am I missing a reset button somewhere or have I burned out the motor somehow? Thanks.
