Maytag Combination Washer/Dryer LSE1000

Washer will not agitate

the contol panel works fine . tub fills normal,clicks on wash cycle normal ; motor starts, this is when the motor pulley spins on main drive belt eventually burning belt and not turning main drive pulley. This main drive pulley workes great on spin cycle turning anti-clockwise.Turning this main pulley manually in both directions resists about the same. Thanks
