We have the same problem. I have isolated the problem to the drum rubbing against the metal rim of the inside of the door opening. I have checked the belt and motor and they are ok. The drum has a felt trim on the outside to protect it from rubbing but it is either not positioned right or worn. The squeak is extremely annoying but not really doing any damage.
