New filter for Steam Station

My Steam glide steam station suddenly stopped working, I was reading the manual and it said that the filter needed to be changed every 6 months, as it ahs been well past that since I've had it I thought that hopefully thats what the problem is but I can't find where to get one from. Could you help please?

    Like earlier comments, can't locate where replacement filters are available and seek assistance regarding these. Salton, the Westinghouse Customer Service facility listed on the Owner's Manual no longer handle this product, and can't help!!
