tub breaks loose from washer
This machine is only 8 mo. old. I have now had 2 GE repair people out under warranty to repair this ongoing problem. The washer during the spin cycle vibrates then violently shakes, meanwhile the jarring tub is scraping the rim causing plastic shavings to fall into the wash. Finally it simply stops, detached from what holds it and won't wash or spin. The first repair man attributed it to a loose bolt, the second said the first left parts off when he reassembled it in his repair. This has been going on for a month and Best Buy only will do a return or exchange afte 3 repairs. Meanwhile it's off to the laundromat we go! Has anyone else had this unusual problem with this washer? If so, what did you learn it really was? Did you find out how it happened or is it possible I have a lemon?
