can you please tell me were the filter is. I am getting a lot of lint on my clothes but cannot find a filter.

    I have this problem - BAD!!! Whirlpool recommend placing a dishwasher tablet into machine and running through a HOT cycle - stopping after 10 minutes of washing and reset for another 10 minutes. After 20 minutes of washing, leave to stand for 2hours. Then complete cycle. They also suggested using warm water to wash in as cold water doesn't separate the lint so well, and using less detergent.
    BTW - there ISN'T a filter as such - it uses "Magic clean" located in the bottom of the basket, and you can't access it. Check out www.whirlpool.com.au for a manual. The full model number is 6LBR6245EQ1
