Agitator

Need manual.

Agitator keeps popping up during loads of laundry. If I hold it down it works, but will not stay in place. Will replacing the agitator with a new part solve the problem, or is this not fixable?

    This happened to mine. The screw that is all the way under the softner dispenser needs to be tightened or put back in. You'll need an extension ratchet to reach it to tighten.

  • the screw doesn't seem involved

    The problem is with the auger (the part that looks like a corkscrew) -- the screw that holds the post to the base is tight - and that part doesn't come up...it's the auger that comes up from the base.
