Hotpoint Aquarius WD62 not starting

My Hotpoint Washer Dryer 1200 is not starting, not sure if it has broken down.
-None of the connections have been changed from previous to now
-Checked the fuse plug and i replaced that with the one from my microwave
-pressed firmly on the door just to make sure that the door is closed properly
-tested the power socked by connecting my vaccum cleaner just to be sure that socket is getting power. It is working beautifully.

Anyone have any idea what would be wrong? Please help!
