This is pefectly normal all washing machines reguardlees if its a washer dryer or not they all keep water in them to help dilute the fabric softener to help it through the machine un diluted comfort/ fabric softener is NOT good for your clothes my machine does it as well its a hotpoint wd420 1200 spin your machine is fine ok from Carl any problems email me at carlwallis20@hotmailcom and I can assist you further.
