  • Caution buying Maytag

    I purchased this washer and dryer set Aug 2008. The washer will run a several loads correctly and then only fill with hot water. Twice I have had delicate clothes washed and rinsed in pure hot water. The water/plumbing is not the issue. It also seems to "grind" during the wash cycle. This is my third Maytag and last. Not happy with the product. Sloppy manufacturing - not built to last anymore.

  • SAME PROBLEM!

    It just dumped scalding hot water all over my husbands rust stained military uniform. customer service told us this was an impossible problem. When we had the washer for less than 6mo the repair center told us that it was over 2yrs old and not covered by warranty. WE ARE POOR and CANNOT AFFORD TO HAVE THIS KIND OF THING HAPPENING!!!!!
